HOLY (SHIT) ALPS CONQUEST is not just another ultracycling event. It is both torment and transcendence — a passage through landscapes so punishing they make you curse, and so beautiful they make you believe in heaven.

It all begins in Girona, Spain, on August 8th, 2026. From the warmth of the Mediterranean, riders turn their wheels toward the mountains. The clock does not stop until they reach Munich, Germany, before sunset on August 21st.

Between those two moments lies a journey of strategy, suffering, and awe — where every climb is a crucible and every summit a glimpse of paradise.

The Route of Wonders

The path unfolds in three movements:

Part I — The Threshold.
A fixed route of 95 km carries the riders from Girona, paradise of cycling, to the Col d’Ares. A first ascent that feels like a gate: behind it, the realm of the extraordinary begins.

Part II — The Labyrinth.
From the Col d’Ares to Jausiers, France, the road becomes free. Riders must choose their own line:
Swift, rolling paths through Perpignan and Montpellier, kissed by sun and sea winds, or more secret, scenic detours where beauty softens the effort. Strategy and serenity walk hand in hand.

Part III — The Alpine Heaven (and Hell).
From Jausiers start the final fixed route, and the Alps rise like a cathedral of stone and sky. Here, agony and wonder become inseparable. Each pass is a prayer, each summit an altar.

  • The otherworldly Cime de la Bonette

  • The solemn Col Agnel

  • The historic Col d’Izoard

  • The savage Col du Granon

  • Giants like Galibier, Croix de Fer, Madeleine, Col de la Loze, among others

  • Or the monarch of them all: Col de l’Iseran

In Switzerland, the drama grows divine:
the sweeping Furkapass, the fierce Nufenenpass, the legendary cobbles of the Tremola at St. Gotthard,
and finally the holy trinity of San Bernardino, Splügenpass, and Albulapass.

Then comes Austria and Bavaria — rolling green valleys and fairytale peaks — before the final descent into glory in Munich.

Rules of Glory

  • Time limit: Sunset, August 21st, 2026.

  • Explorer Points: Riders must collect at least 30% to be recognized as finishers.

  • Classification: Ranked first by Explorer Points, then by elapsed time.

HOLY (SHIT) ALPS CONQUEST is more than a challenge.
It is a hymn to the mountains — to their cruelty and their splendor.
It is the place where tears meet triumph,
where hell paves the way to heaven.

You climb.
You cry.
You take a selfie.
And in between — you touch the divine.
